About us

Alison G. Thompson  is an Oxford, MS native and a graduate of the University of Mississippi and the University of Memphis, respectively. She developed her love for reading from her mother at a young age. There was always an Eric Jerome Dickey or a Terry McMillan book on her mother’s nightstand or workbag. As Alison evolved, not only did she discover her passion for reading, but her teachers, Mrs. Miller and Dr. Lowe assisted her in finding her voice through writing and speaking.

Alison is the owner and head creator of Greenline Creative, LLC. Their mission is to amplify their voices and to hold space for the Black protagonists. In 2021, Alison and her son, Lucas, co-authored their first book entitled, Super Lucas. They strive to encourage everyone to use their superpowers to make the world a better place. A year later, Alison and her daughter Aria published Twos with Tootie. It is a celebration of all things two for terrific two- year- olds!

Knowing the alarming literacy rates of children globally, Alison is an advocate for literacy for everyone! She is also committed to Leaving a Legacy in a Book as a deposit for future generations to keep dreaming and keep creating.
